Twin Hills Cycle Ranch

Bridgeport, Texas Private

Twin Hills Cycle Ranch is a motorcycle-only private park near Bridgeport, Texas, with tight, rocky dirt bike single track about an hour from Dallas-Fort Worth.

Twin Hills Cycle Ranch is a private riding area west of Bridgeport in Wise County, and it is for motorcycles only. ATVs, side-by-sides, and Jeeps are not allowed, so the trails stay narrow. The property covers roughly 1,900 to 2,000 acres of woods, hills, sandy creek beds, and a lot of rock, with around 15 to 20 miles of trail. Most of it is tight single track, with some wider trail, unmarked two-track to explore, and a few open spots to practice in.

Riders who know both places describe it as a tighter, rockier cousin of Red River Motorcycle Trails, and the rocky sections are what it is known for: steep descents over small boulders and drops, and slow, technical going. Some sections split into easier and harder lines, but the splits aren't always marked, and signage has been sparse between events. The ranch hosts TCCRA cross-country races and observed trials, so markers from a recent race are sometimes still up. It suits intermediate and better riders more than first-timers.

Getting there

The ranch is about an hour northwest of Dallas-Fort Worth. From Bridgeport, head west on US 380 for about 4 miles, turn north on FM 1658, and look for the entrance about a mile up, by the old Twin Hills store. The mailing address is 305 S Main St, Bridgeport, TX 76426. Bridgeport has fuel, food, and supplies.
